NOVUS — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NOVUS platform (“NOVUS”, “the Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

NOVUS is a competitive performance platform designed to measure skill, reputation, and consistency through structured competition.
NOVUS is not a gambling service, not a betting platform, and not a game of chance.

By accessing or using NOVUS, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • attempting to evade reputation or penalties through multiple accounts is prohibited

Identity integrity is central to NOVUS.

5. Competition and Performance

By participating in competitions, you acknowledge that:

  • rankings and performance metrics may be publicly visible

  • reputation is influenced by both results and behavior

NOVUS does not guarantee:

  • success

  • ranking position

  • rewards

  • access to specific competitions

Performance is measured over time, not by isolated outcomes.

6. Fair Play and Integrity

You agree not to:

  • cheat, exploit, or manipulate systems

  • interfere with fair competition

  • use automation, scripts, or unauthorized tools

  • engage in abusive, deceptive, or disruptive behavior

Violations may result in:

  • invalidation of results

  • reputation penalties

  • suspension or permanent account termination

NOVUS may take action without prior notice to protect competitive integrity.

7. Reputation and Enforcement

Reputation on NOVUS reflects:

  • consistency of performance

  • compliance with rules

  • behavioral integrity

NOVUS reserves full discretion to:

  • adjust rankings

  • apply penalties

  • restrict participation

  • revoke access

Decisions related to integrity and enforcement are final.

8. Economic Elements (If Applicable)

Any financial or reward-related elements on NOVUS:

  • are secondary to performance

  • are consequences, not incentives

  • do not constitute gambling or betting

NOVUS does not guarantee financial outcomes.
Participation is undertaken at your own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, systems, software, branding, and materials on NOVUS are the property of NOVUS or its licensors.

You may not:

  • reverse engineer

  • exploit

any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

10. Platform Availability

NOVUS is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted access

  • error-free operation

  • permanent availability of features

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • NOVUS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • participation is at your own discretion and risk

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to NOVUS at any time if:

  • integrity of the Platform is threatened

Termination does not entitle you to compensation.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

The current version will always be available on the NOVUS website.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Platform, or its use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
